I got him at the dog pound.  I knew he was older, but he was so calm and unfazed by the other dogs.  He was huge, but a gentle giant.  I had got divorced about a year earlier and was living alone in a new city/house.  He just really helped me cope after everything fell apart.  I only had him for over 2 years but he was the best.  He always was so happy to see me.  He never left my side.  He was the best boy ever.  He'd follow me wherever I went.  I just miss him so much.
