We don't know alot about his birth or 1st 2 years. He was found at the AZ Animal Control Ctr and adopted by George and Luce Judson on Jan 5th, 2002. The Judsons had him for almost 3 years. Funny, I see Zeus had a criminal record in Tempe (citations for roaming) hahahah.   Zeus was the 1st dog I ever owned. I accidently inherited him when his previous owner died suddenly in November 2005. I was just going to foster him until we found a home for him or a no-kill shelter that would accept him. When he jumped into my car he basically had that look of "hurry up, lets GO, Oh boy!!" I guess I was hooked on him. He was very well behaved and did everything I asked of him. He was so silly sometimes,his nickname became buffoon, as he was over 120 Lbs and would knock things over including people. His favorite: FOOD!!! Any kind but especially his cookies. He also loved to ride in the car and would be just like a human and catch all the things going by. The dog park and his unleashed walks on the Reservation land were some of his favorite times. His DISLIKES: Thunder/Lightening; Fireworks; and the DREADED PAPER PEOPLE who would fling the newspapers from their SUV's and whacked him a few times with them. I could sit in the front of the house and the Zoomerz would just lay there content. As Gloria Judson said, "Zeus you landed in clover". I hope you are there now Chief, with cookies raining down on you!!! We all miss you so MUCH!!! You passed away so unexpectedly after our walk. See ya on the next ride Buddy!! WOOF
