Abby when we picked you up It was my job to find you a forever home, little did I know that your forever home should be with me.  After a short time I didnt have the heart to let you go, You see you had found your human in Hailey, you were her comfort, joy, and confidant, you washed her tears and jumped for joy when she was happy. You made our home a happier place and now that your gone it feels so much more empty. You were a brave little girl even until the end and it broke my heart to see you hurt but it shattered when we had to say goodbye. I will never forget your eyes and the happy twinkle in them, it hurt so to see them cry. I know I did the right thing it was my obligation to you it was the only way I could repay you for the life you gave us and the memories you left in our hearts.  Its been 13 hours and 10 minutes since I held your paw as you crossed over the rainbow bridge and I know we will see you again. In the end I realize we may have rescued you but truly you rescues us.  We miss you my sweet baby.
