Callie was picked by Terry from several other kittens. We brought her home in October of 1990. She was a Calico. She had brown, black & white coloring. She loved to be near people sitting on them. She absolutely loved having her belly rubbed. She also would sleep for hours on Terry when he was in the chair with his blanket on him.

Personal Notes

Callie was at home when she died. She recently visted Hamilton Vet Clinic. She was ultimately diagnosed having severe anemia, renal problems and finally cancer - leukemia. Her last day was spent sitting on Terry for several hours. She loved being with him and on his blanket.

We had her cremated on Friday May 2, 2008 at Sleepy Hollow Pet Cemetary in Byron Center Michigan.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.

We have created a memorial flower garden in the backyard for her. WE have a memeorial stone that has a cat with wings with "Beloved Pet" written on it. Callie is greatly missed each and every day!
