We wanted a liver spotted dalmatian and I found one in 1996 on the internet in Tulsa, OK. The rescue was the Dalmatian Assistance League (www.tulsadals.org) and they flew him to Kentucky. He was their very first internet adoption.

Personal Notes

Guy had had a rough time with his first adoption family and as a result the rescue group took him away from them. So when he came to us he wasn't real sure of things. As a result if he ever got free from the house he'd take off running. All we had to do was get in the truck and let him see us and he came running because riding to the country to see his grandparents was just about his favorite thing to do.

Like a lot of dalmatians, Guy liked to grin at you. We had a thing where if you got down and grinned at him and said "grrr smoochy" he'd grin and then give you a lick/kiss.

Guy was our Grandpuppy. He was paired with his sister Lucy who was always the one "in charge". Altough Guy was overshadowed by Lucy's exerburance, He had his own way of getting into your heart. We will never forget his GRR-Kisses and his beautiful Brown Dalmation Spots. We Miss him & Lucy Both. They were our "KIDS"

Guy was one of our rescue kids all those years ago. When he came into our program, everyone who met him just kept saying "what a good guy!"--so Guy easily became his name. True, Guy's first placement did not turn out as we hoped and we took him back to wait for his perfect home which he obviously found. Thank you for loving him and giving him the good life he so richly deserved. He truly was a good Guy!
