Ranger was a wonderful companion, a good friend and a very funny dog. The way he used to howl was so funny. He would get Merlin to howl also. I know he was not the best around other animals but he did love people. He will always have a very special place in our lives. May God bless him and may he always be at peace. The funniest thing I remember about Ranger is the time he pulled me in the snow. We attached a rope to a sleigh and the other end of the rope to Ranger's colar and he actually pulled us in the backyard. What a wonderful dog. There is no dog out there that can replace him. I just wish we had more time with him. If only we did not have to put him down. He will be missed more than anything. Ranger absolutely loved our friend Linda. He would be all over her. And if you said to Ranger, "wanta eat", or "are you hungry"?,  he would howl. I wish I had it on video tape. It was the funniest thing. Ranger will be missed and we will always have a special place in our hearts for him. We love you Ranger.
