Harley,



I wish you were still here with me today.  I am sorry I did not know how sick you were.  You did a great job in concealing it.  This past week has been difficult for us all.  Shilo keeps waiting for you to come home.  He refuses to lay on your blanket so I have been letting him sleep with me.  I know, you are rolling your eyes but you always had permission to get on the bed also!  He keeps licking my eyes like he did for you.  Today I have been looking for a memorial stone to put in sis's garden that you loved so much.  I think I have found the perfect one.  



One of my favorite memories of you is when we used to take road trips in our red pick up.  You would sit beside me a bark at any vehicle that remained beside us.  Do you remember when the the huge RV started taking pictures of us while driving down the highway?  You kept inching closer to me while barking at them!!  



I put your picture on all my desktops and I still tell you goodnight with kisses and ear rubs.  I read about the Rainbow Bridge today and it told me that you have lots of friends and are free to run.  We both know how much you love to run!  My favorite part is that when my day comes you will be there waiting with hugs and kisses.  I can't wait.  



Does it storm where you are?  Just remember the thunder and lightning can't hurt you.  It is just noise.  



Have you found Paxton yet?  



You will always be loved and missed.  I look forward to sleep in hopes of dreaming of you.  You know where to find me.
