Our baby Blu was on a short assignment...Blu Faune Dedert was born with the name Shelley and she came to us as the smallest puppy in her litter, scrappy and determined. A closed mouth never gets fed and hers was never closed. She demanded attention, love and your complete devotion.



Blu gave her older sister Giggsy new life and brought so much love to her humans. She LOVED to play ball more than anything in the world and was quite the athlete. It seemed that she was born knowing how to do tricks with a ball. Her daily time in the field with her dad was the highlight of her every day. The harder the play, the more she was happy. She wasn't satisfied until she was completely exhausted by all the fun. 



She was the first one to wake us in the morning and the last to steal a moment to hop in our bed at night. She was a velcro dog that felt most comfortable right next to her humans...on top of them if necessary. She was there when we brushed our teeth and never left our sides during the serving of any meal. As a puppy, she would even just sit on my feet while I stood at the stove. Even on her last day, she stretched her neck out to lay on her dad's feet just be close and feel comforted. 



The three of us left in the house are missing a big part of our hearts and are struggling to move on without her but her memory reminds us to keep loving and enjoying life as she did EVERY SINGLE DAY- to the fullest. We're going to miss Blu more than we can express but feel so lucky to have had her in our lives for even a short time. Love you Blu!
