What can I say about a loyal, loving, easy going dog that loved everyone, but always had a touch for the dramatic. She was such an important dog to everyone. For Nikki, she was everything. For karson, she was a pain on the ass, for Andrew she was like a source of comfort and a speed bump. And for Aaron, she was whatever he needed her to be at any moment. Through all 9 of her lives, she played many roles. She was a kibble counter (for everyone except herself), she was a supervisor of all things, she was a wood chuck cleaner upper, a second mom to the kids, not once did we ever worry about the viscous pitt bill. At least once she was a traffic director. No 4 Wheeler was left not chased. She would jump on any fire work to keep the yard safe from burnt grass. She was even a wanderer a time or two (maybe three or four, but who's counting?). She always made sure the dirt in the driveway was nice and loose for the chickens. Back in her younger days, she was a chair and step stool. She was a squealer during nail trims and even an actress ( her favorite roles included being dead when she didn't want to come in, or being deaf if she didn't like what you are saying). While Phoebe was never once to shy away from telling you her thoughts, she never complained about her many jobs. She always managed to do everything and yet still be right in the way (don't worry, not one minute of her time was wasted by moving out of it, she demanded to be stepped over) She was just happy to have a place. She did it with a smile and way too many licks. She was so many things to So many people, we forgot that she was the center of the household. We never thought we would miss her addiction to licking or the random barks because her favorite person Danny was finally visiting. We will miss Walking around to every door in the house to see which one she would be coming to after her 3am bathroom breaks. While we have 3 other dogs at this time, there will be a huge hole on our hearts that will never be filled. RIP sweet girl, and give heaven some hell.
