Our most beloved Daisy went on to be with The Lord on Thursday June 19th, 2025.
Daisy loved hard! He was so faithful in nudging up against his favorite person, and that person would change by the minute, depending on who was in his presence, and stealing chin scratches and full body rubs. He loved the vigorous rubs the most!
In his later years of life, he loved to sunbathe on the patio! Often escaping through the banister, so he could layout on the sidewalk where the sun intake was optimal!
When Daisy was younger, he loved roaming the neighborhood and mingling with the various strays he would come upon. More than once, he'd bring his buddies home with him, unbeknownst to me, they would jump through the window, and eventually I would find him and his friends sprawled out on my sons bed, all napping together. It was so cute and kind of him to bring his fiends in from off the streets! Little shit!
When we first got Daisy, we were told he was a girl, hence his name. But one fine day, when he was rolling around on his back, my then 7 yr old son exclaimed, "Mom, they cat has bigger balls than me!" That's when we first realized that Daisy was in fact a He, and not a She, hence the modification of his name, from Daisy- to Daisy Duke.
Daisy touched the hearts of everyone he met. So loving, social and faithful!
