Amy Gray was a wonderful, sweet cat who loved humans but hated other cats. She was gray, with some Aby and Russian Blue. She was missing a tooth which she knocked out one day when she was 10 during a play session. No matter if you were a stranger or a friend, she would jump on your lap and purr. She was at first our sister’s cat and she grew up with our brother and in this way she became for us a symbol of family togetherness. She was once a mascot for a convention, styled in a bat wing outfit. She was so innocent and forgiving, the best friend that anyone could ask for.
Amy Gray was a faithful companion for us, through the good times and bad. She has never left our side, was never aggressive and was very patient with us as her cat parents. Her loss was devastating to us and has left a void that could never be filled with another pet. She was unique in her manner, sweetness and silly cat-quirks. She would bite her own tail, stay awake on sleeping people staring at your face, hide behind monitors, and hide in the cupboard. No butter dish was safe from her. In her final days of fighting CKD, she was sweet to every veterinarian and animal physical therapist who helped take care of her. We will never forget our small runt who had so much to give. We love you, Amy Gray, with all of our hearts and souls. Your human friends will always miss you. You will always be our kitten. Please wait for us on the other side!
