I would like Auggie to be remembered as a kind and loving soul.  He was my best friend, my protector, and without a word my soulmate.  For 11 years, we were always there for each other.  Auggie never asked for anything from me but I willingly gave him all I had.  Auggie was blessed with an easy going temperment which made everyone who knew him fall in love with him.  He was a lovable goof of a soul who took as much pleasure "people watching" in the sun as he did going for walks at the nature preserve with Mommy & Daddy.  I will love him always and will miss him forever.  Until we meet again, my baby boy,  until we meet again... Love, Mommy
Personal Notes

Auggie died from complications from hemangiosarcoma. I stayed by his side that final night and held his paw. He refused all drink and food and would not get up from his bed. I had decided the last act of love I could give him was to end his suffering peacefully. It was not that I did not love him enough to want him to stay, it was that I loved him too much to make him stay. Forever, baby-boy, forever!
