On April 30, 2023 our sweet Harley passed away in her mothers arms, surrounded by family who deeply love her.  



My sweet girl was 15.5 years old (human years)… she was fighting congestive heart failure, kidney disease, and pancreatitis. Her health declined rapidly and while we tried to address her issues with procedures and medication; it just wasn’t enough. To say we are devastated doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. Harley, even in death, is still extremely special to us.  The idea of never seeing her again here on earth is unbearable to us. Harley wasn’t our pet- she was a part of the family. She will forever and always be our sweet baby girl. 



We buried our sweet Harley at our home where she spent most of her life. The day after we buried her, knowing her beautiful broken body was underneath that mound of dirt was killing us. We planted two rhododendrons and patinas to make her final resting place more peaceful. Planting those shrubs and flowers hasn’t healed our broken heart, nothing will. 



We look forward to the day when we’re together again and our sweet Harley is back in our arms. Until then we will miss her each and every single day.
