He was a happy, contented boy. I call him "boy" because he was just like a little boy; his favourite game was to play hockey with a paper ball all over the house. He would play with the ball by himself; but especially loved it when someone would play with him.

We bought him many toys but the paper balls were always his favourite.

He enjoyed company and would always check people out that came for a visit.

He seemed to enjoy an affinity with other males in the house. He would lovingly cuddle up at the feet of my husband in the evenings, enjoying the rubs he got from his toes. Just the slightest show of affection from my husband seemed to satisfy him.

He would cuddle up to me on the couch and look to me for affection by climbing up on my lap and just be held and petted.

He and I both had bad allergies; so I would sympathize with him on his bad days. I would wipe away the mucous that formed in his eyes which he seemed to appreciate.

He was always there when I was sad and seemed to try to console me. I will miss him terribly.

I know he's no longer in pain and hope to see him again someday.
