Boots came to us when we first moved in. We had lost our house cats and she was across the street trying to tell my wife where they were. We soon found them. She soon became a frequent visitor to our door. We started to feed her and soon fell in love with her. We had planned to take her to the vet to get her checked out for diseases before bringing her inside. That day never came. Today, as I was shoveling the walkway, she ran across the street to come and see me and was hit by a speeding car. The car was going well over the speed limit and didn't even stop. It was horrific to watch. I will never forget her and the times we spent just cuddling on the porch. I miss you Bootsie!

I am so sorry for your loss! Boots obviously loved you very much, you took care of him and he knew it. How sad that you had to see Boots die that way. Hopefully we will be with our furr babies again.
