Dear Milton, We miss you so much. Although we had you only a brief time, the memories you left behind will last a lifetime. How you used to steal our socks and hide them. Or how you would wait quietly and jump out at us. I especially miss you walking on my keyboard as I tried to work, or how you would lay across my paperwork when I was trying to get things done. We all miss you. You were special to each of us. How you loved to sleep on Morgan's window sill during the day. And how you would hide under Shanleys bed waiting for her to fall asleep so you could jump on a leg or and arm that would hang off the bed. And Daddy (Jerry) misses how you would play hide and seek with him when it was time to put you to bed. Your beautiful red markings and fluffy striped tail... for a $20.00 cat that cost us over $400.00 in vet bills the first month we had you : ) We would do again, and then some to have you back. You were so loving and loyal! And how your feline mate, Kobe misses you and Champ your buddy the Lab. We loved to watch all of you play and run through the house... you being the instigator, of course! As I held you in my arms as you struggled for your life, we tried to save you but it was too late. How I wish we could have stopped you from running out the door that night... we tried everything to keep you in as a house cat, but you were too quick. I wish I could turn back the clock, just one hour... and you would still be with us today. We love you Milton and you will be in our hearts and minds forever!
