Gretta was a social butterfly. She would greet everyone at the door, show them the house and then sit in their lap purring. (Even those who didn't like cats) She "never knew a stranger" She wasn't the oldest pet, but, she was definately the "Matriarchy" of the family. She was loving and sweet, but, also fearless. Our 96 lb Aussie/Shepherd mix would wait outside whining if Gretta was on the inside of the dog door. He would wait until she moved. He was afraid she would try to "love" on him and that...well, that just wasn't dog-like. Gretta was a princess at heart. She loved jewelry and used to spend hours fishing around in my jewelry box. We all miss our sweet Gretta.
