baby was the best friend i could ever imagine. It started toward the end of my college years. I was feeling down, and i always had a love for animals, so i decided to go out and find a dog. After a long search I found a lady who had a 6 wk old Jack Russel. This is exactly what I was looking for. My roomate and his girl drove me the short thirty minute trip. Immediately upon arrival the friendship would begin. Baby, (Charlene Green, the owners name), walked up and sat in my lap. it was a sell. She was absolutely beautiful. Baby was the smartest and most personable dog i have ever seen. Anyone who knew her loved her. From Kent Ohio, Baby and I have traveled to Clearwater, Fl, back to OHio for about 3yrs. When I finished college, we went to Cleveland for about a yr, then traveled to sunny san diego. There she would meet her best friend Spanky. He was our new addition. A six week old jack russell. From there they were best friends. for the next 2yrs we traveled from san diego to denver, to orange county ca to denver again, back to ohio for a while, then back to san diego, and to baby's final spot seattle wa. 2 days prior to thanksgiving, i found baby not feeling well. I took her to the vet and after a few days of aggressive care, baby was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I was devastated and anyone who knew her was terribly saddened. baby had to be put to sleep on tues nov. 30 at 630pm. She died in my arms. One good thing for us was baby was able to come home for one night and spend that night with the ones who loved her most, me, nicole and spanky. We fed her Lugow, played frisbee at the park, took her to church for a blessing, and prayed. Baby, my best friend in the world died in my arms that night after an injection. although i cried and asked why and how, I now realize how lucky i was to have such a smart and loveable best friend. I will always have a special spot in my heart for baby. she helped me through some tough times. anyone who knew her remebered her for her funny tricks like "fire safety, bang, where's osama and who is it". we will miss baby terribly, and i just hope someday we meet again. thank you so much baby for all the smiles you put on my face. JOHNNY
