She lived a long life and in dog years she would be 82 years old. She passed on peacefully. She has given us much joy and brightened up our family even though we may have not given her the best of the best of our time and attention due to the so called busy-ness of our lives. And she has been a part of the cell family gatherings for over 8 years ever since Dhana, Aunty Rani, Natasha, Ryan and I joined the cell and Family of Christ. Some would be a little bit intimidated of her bark and ‘fierce’ look but be assured she was a harmless loving living being who was providing us with security, alerts and being protective of her territory. Every Tuesday or Friday being tied up was not her thing and she knew when we had cell! She has given us the best of her nearly 13 years of her life and we thank her and love her for that. We will grow in maturity and progress forward with this passing. We also want to thank everyone who has said a kind word to us and encouraged us during this time. Our kids and I will miss our daily walks around SS1, stopping by at houses with doggies where we would chat with each other. Some neighbours will remember my kids playing the harmonica and some would stop and say nice words about Cleo. Thank you all for your encouragement and love. We will miss her greatly. Thank you. God Bless.
