Gilbert was one of the greatest cats to ever walk to face of the Earth!  No one could walk into his house without receiving nuzzles and love.  Of course, his love for his human friends was only surpassed by his love for his brother Sullivan and sister Mabel.  To look at Gilbert when he was a little kitten, you would never think that such a scrawny, splotchy little thing would turn out to be the big, beautiful, silky cat that he was!  He proved the statement that "great things come from small packages!"  We will all miss Gilbert's bushy tail, his friendly nature, his curiosity, his fondness for scratching, his penchant for climbing your back to get a better view and his constant and  sweet companionship.  Yes, we will miss him a lot, but we know that we are all a little better for having snuggled with that wonderful and darling little.  Gilbert - we love you!  We will always remember you and smile.  :o)
