Kitty showed up at my doorstep one day, looking famished yet extremely friendly. Not having any pet food at home, I rummaged in my freezer until I found three delicious pieces of fish that I fried in front of her longing face. She stayed with me all day...as well as the next 10 years. My life circumstances and locations kept changing but she always followed me. When my personal life was taking over, making me spend less time with her and even leaving her in the care of my flatmate for entire weeks, she still ran to me as soon as I was back. Today, I have lost her and a part of me has gone. I feel an empty space inside me and life is less beautiful without her. I will cherish her memory forever. She has been, is and will remain my most precious companion. I love you, my princess.
