Such a smart dog. Loved to play and learn new tricks. Loved to fish all on his own! At the ocean and lake, he would dive down to search for fish and other critters. Once, he found a huge dead salmon by our house and wouldn't get in the car until I put the stinking thing in the car too! At the salmon hatchery we were watching the salmon spawn in the American River looked over, and saw he was fishing right in front of the warden! He was walking in the river and just bringing these huge flopping fish up on the shore! We didn't get in too much trouble. We just put them back.

Baily will surely be missed! He was definitely "Man's Best Friend"
All it took was a pat or a scratch, then you had a friend for life.

Baily was my hunting buddy my family’s companion and guard dog. He knew friend from foe, pets from prey. For me he was my “Big Guy” who helped me raise my family with his unconditional love.

When I had knee surgery Baily and I worked out together. I taught him how to follow commands when hunting, which he caught on quickly. The last time he hunted, around age 13 he would not quit. He would have dropped rather than let me down that’s guys best friend. Baily not only lives on in our heart’s but to our surprise Rocky’s Great grandmother was the Big Guys mother. Baily took Rocky under his wing and now he knows friend from foe and pets from prey. Baily lives on!!
