She was so sweet and mild and tender and loving. And though she died the day we brought her home...I would never regret it. We rushed her to the vet knowing something was wrong when she was still breathing but completely limp. Her heat was 3 times the size it should be the Dr. said. And in no way did I want to give her back to the pet store. So I carried her out just as I did in, limp and scared. I tried to calm her on the way to take her back...and I told her that she mattered and that she was loved as tears ran down my cheeks. And when we finally got to the pet store the guy whipped her out of my hands, and then they called the next morning...she died peacefully, both all alone, and loved at the same time.
