I had always wanted a puppy, and from the minute I saw Angel in the Exotic Pets pet store, I knew she had to be mine. Angel was in a pen with some other Bishon Frise/ Poodle crosses like her, and some pug pups. That night when I got home I had a hard time convincing my Dad, but my sister, mom, and my efforts paid off. We were getting a puppy! I was so excited that I called all of my friends immediately. A few days later we came to make sure we knew which puppy we wanted. We finally found the same little girl we'd seen before, and told the pet store lady that we would like to reserve her, and pick her up in 2 days. The lady told us that we couldn't really do that, because if she put a collar on Angel the other puppies would just chew it off. The only way we could do it is put her in a kennel for two days. We really didn't want to do that, so we took her home that day. It took a long time to get her house trained, but after a year, we thought that we finally did it. Angel was such a cute puppy. She never did anything to deserve death at only one year old. Some special memories of Angel that I have are how cute she was when she played fetch. Angel absolutely ADORED playing fetch. She even taught herself to actually throw the ball back to you. Angel also loved the water. I remember one game we played with her where we'd throw a rock into the water and then Angel would dunk her head under to go get it for you. She was such an energetic little thing. *Sigh.* I miss Angel so much, and it seems like she died so much longer ago than three days. On Wednesday I was walking home from school with my friend Tammy. My sister Rachel had ran ahead, and my dad had let Angel out to go do her business. Rachel was already home, and Angel had just finished greeting her when I came into view. Angel was so excited to see me that she ran across the road to say Hello. Well, when Angel was only half way across the car ran over her little body with both front and back wheels. Angel had no chance. The car stopped and a devastated lady came out. I was just standing there over her and crying really hard. My dad got a blanket and put it under her body. Then we all hopped into the truck and raced to the vet's office. But it was too late for Angel; she didn't even make it there. We decided to get Angel's ashes back, but we wont get them for a few days now. I really miss Angel, and have so many good pictures and memories of her. And that concludes Angel's story.
