My sweet Kyra, I will miss coming home & hearing you say "I love you!  What'cha doin?" and holding your little foot up & saying "Tickle, tickle, tickle!"  even playing Peekaboo for a half hour because you never wanted to stop.  



 I rescued you from that horrible overcrowded place you were in, helped you understand I wasn't a giant monster & we grew to love each other more than I ever thought possible.  



 Leaving you in the cold, dark ground was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.  We were constant companions, even sneaking you into the store in my coat so you wouldn't be lonely at home...I love you sweetheart & I hope you will forgive me for making the worst mistake of my life & ending yours.  



 I cannot wait to get to the bridge & feel your soft preening & loving kisses on my face...& to tell you how much I love you & hear you say "Stop it!!" when you're ready to be done playing.
