When I went to pick up Boe from my friends cousins home, he climbed up my leg and onto my shoulder. That has really been his favorite spot all his life. He was just 6 weeks old.

One of my favorite memories was when he and I lived alone and he decided to turn on the light. He had climed on the back of the chair and saw the light switch on the wall and decided to turn it on. I sat straight up in bed and we just looked at each other. I think he was suprised as I was.

I loved the way he would jump into my arms, but only when he wanted to explore the higher shelves in my closet.

Boe would always greet me in the morning when I woke and get up to greet me when I came home.

He will be missed physically but will live forever in my heart.

I was by his side when he died. They say egyptians shaved their eybrows when their cats died. I know why they did that.

Personal Notes

Sorry about the typo. Boe was actually born in 1987, not 1887. It made me laugh when I read that. Maybe that was the first of his nine lives!

Even though he preferred life as an only child, Boe compassionately opened his home to street-wise Ellie and her illegitimate offspring. He remains a much loved fur person and I know he will enjoy Arnold and Sylvester when he meets them.

I'm so sorry Chris. You and Boe were so cute together, so loving, and so hilarious. You would listen intently while he told you everything you were "supposed" to know. :) and you would pet him, and he would hiss, and you'd chuckle at him. He was a constant source of love and entertainment. I'll miss him too. He really was the most beautiful cat I've ever seen!
Love,
Deb

I remember when we a few of us all got new kittens at the same time. My was Pebbles. They were all so cute together. What I will remember most about Boe was that he used to let you pet him just for a second then the famous hiss would be heard. Chris I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember well when we lost Pebbles. Now Boe and Pebbles can be friends for always.
