Something everyone always says about their cat, "He was one of a kind." In this case it was completely true. There is no way to begin to describe what kind of a little creature he was.
He came to me from nowhere. I was outside, when this little mocha-colored ball of fur came running up my front step. It was raining out that night, so he was soaked! He was infested with fleas. I tried to put him in the bathroom until morning, when I could go and get some Flea Shampoo. He cried and cried, so I put him back out on the porch. He was still crying, but there was nothing I could do. In the a.m., I ran to the door hoping to see the fleabitten creature, but he wasn't there. Then 3 hours later he came back. I called my mum, who had been out that night, and told her about this little black ball of fur. She said "No way Sarah, no cats." I knew, once she saw him she would change her mind.
She came home, and saw him lying on the sofa, "Oh my God, look at him. He's so cute, and full of fleas, poor thing. I'm gong to take him to the groomers for a flea bath."
Wow, did he score! Mocha found the perfect, most loving house a kitty could ever find. He was absolutely spoiled for the next 10 years. We all spoiled him in different ways. He knew who fed him, Micah. He knew who smothered him, Sarah. He knew who made his bed, Athena.
No words can really describe him. He was the most unique, caring,protective,human-like Cat in the world!
He was charming, handsome, intelligent, and a great model.
Just look at the pictures
In the animal community, he was "The Don"
Any cat that came through the neighborhood, would get a swift shit-kicking. He had many scars and torn ears to prove it.
"You shoulda seen the other guy"
Many nights he would chase away Raccoons, and shower us with those special gifts. Birds,Mice, and a big fat Rat.
He would sleep the day away, but when the sun went down, he would take to the streets, and was all about business.
This was one cat, who definitely used up his 9 lives, and had a few extra in his pocket. While being the "tough-guy" outside, he was the biggest suck behind closed doors.
"Touch his belly. I dare ya!"
Anyone who was lucky enough to meet him would agree.
He turned NON-Cat Lovers, into Mocha-Lovers, with the butt of his head.
He drank from the running tap in the bathtub, while the water ran down his paw. He was even known to pee in the toilet a couple of times.
He was crazy for tuna, and ate tons of it.
Not to mention his "Treaties", Whiskas Temptations.
He devoured bags of those things.

His passing was brief, and we hope that he didn't suffer. He was found across the street by the pole, where a cross is now nailed, for anyone who wishes to pay their respects to the Mocha-Man.
He left us all behind, and that's the hardest thing.
Each of us we had our daily routines with that little JERK!
His Mommy let him in the morning, and he was there when she got home from work, giving her those little kisses on her forehead.
His Grandma would try to get ready for work, even though he was constantly rubbing through her legs, making her late. But before she could leave, His Royal Majesty’s' bed was to be made!
Micah was the "TUNA GUY". Whenever he heard him come home, between shifts or after work, he would come strutting around the corner. "Where's my Tuna?"

We are all going to miss Mocha so much, and we are all not sure what to do with our time. That little boy took up most of it.
We love you Mocha-Man and always will.
You are forever in our hearts.
There will Never Ever Ever, be another...Ever!

Rest In Peace, My Little Man.
