Emma was a wonderful dog. She was gentle and loving at ALL times. All she wanted was to be loved and to love others. She was great with children and our boys loved her so. She was a wonderful Mother herself, she had one litter of pups and loved them very much. She loved to play and to run. She was a great retriever, mostly of sticks and anything else you would throw. She also loved to hunt with her Dad, especially the part of retrieving the bird or rabbit. She also was a water lover. She was a great swimmer and loved to swim in lakes and rivers. Her eyes were so full of gentleness and warmth. We also believe that she understood English! She would always do as we asked and acted as if she truly knew what we wanted of her. She loved the snow and had so much fun playing in the fresh Colorado powder. We will miss her a great deal and she will always have a special place in all our hearts. She was a part of our family and it is just not fair that she had to go. We are glad that she is not sick anymore and is able to play and be happy wherever she may be. As our Caleb said, "she is with Jesus". We love you Emma, thank you for being our jewel.
