Ms. Liz was a sweet little girl with an attitude. She didn't like being picked up very much except by me....very little. She would sit up on the tallboy dresser every night till finally I made her bed there...she absolutely loved being up there....she could look down on me all night while I'm sleeping. Lizzy always followed me everywhere...especially after the other 3 cats moved in. She growled & hissed at them regularly & chased them out of the bedroom ,if they had the nerve to even enter it in the first place. She loved her loves from me only on her time, but showed her affection with love to me by the way she would look at me,...eyes full of love, rubbed up against my legs and purr. I rescued her from C.A.R.E.S. at 8 yrs. old....rescued her again from 12 days lost off my balcony...dreadful ordeal. She became very sick with infection in kidneys and bladder and really never regained her strength or fattened up no matter how much meat I'd feed her. She started warming up to 1 of the other cats...Alley, but chased, growled & hissed at the others. Ms.Liz was a very courageous kitty, but couldn't regain her health...I believe she was very ill when I got her from C.A.R.E.S. Sad story, she had such a sweet way about her & loved chasing those little rubber balls for cats. I'm sad, but happy I had the privilege of taking her into my home and give her the kindness and love she so deserved.

May Ms. Liz rest in peace in "Kitty Heaven".

Personal Notes

I knew Miss Lizzy and was concerned about her health and well-being. The 12 days she was missing was devastating to my sister and I. We still feel we didn't do enough to find her. She was in the underground parking lot hiding under a tarp. She had a tiny voice and if she called out we couldn't hear her. I am grieving for her and I miss her energy. I will see you again Lizzy.
