Rocky came into our home and became a part of our family on one beautiful July afternoon. A dear friend of mine's cat had kittens and he was one of them. He was 5 weeks old when we got him. He had the most beautiful Blue eyes i had ever seen on a cat. He was a charcoal gray color and we loved him instantly. My Husband began to call him Rocky because he used to stand on his back legs and play box with his front paws. Also he was from South Philadelphia as so was Rocky balboa. On August 24 as i was petting rocky i found a lump on his neck. We thought he was just a puncture wound from our older cat Shady because the two of them loved to rough house around. 3 days later the lump had not gone down and rocky had slowed up on eating and playing and i noticed he liked to sleep a little more than usual. We took him to the vet the next day and he had a 105.6 fever. He was admitted to the hospital for 4 days and 3 nights. He was diagnosed with FIP. He came home to us on Saturday September the 4th. On September 13 rocky began to relapse and i could tell he was suffering. at this point he was on 4 medications a day and i didnt want him in the pain anymore. On September 16th ROcky was laid to rest and is now in peace. He was only in our lives for a few months but we will never forget him and i will love him always. WE miss you rocky
