Chaloopa was the first Pug that I have ever met. He was not my dog, but he soon became my adopted " baby " . The personality that he had was amazing. He would communicate through grunting and tilting his head from side to side. My special memories of him are as follows. Whenever I would get home from work, he would be sitting on the balcony and quick jump up on all fours. He would then run in his doggie door as I entered the building. I could here him crying from the downstairs and as I entered the door, he would jump up and give me kisses. After getting settled, he would run to the door and stand by his leash because he knew it was time to go out. Chaloopa and I would play the Butch and Barbara game and we would take turns on chasing each other. He loved to be chased. EEEEEE!!!! He would only chase me if he had a little bit of motivation, doggie treat in my hand. I would occasionally hide and the look of disappoint and confusion on his face would be to hard to hold out on. He would be very indecisive of where to get comfortable at bed time. Going back and forth from his mommy's room and mine. He loved curling up by your feet and occasionally crawled under the covers and getting comfortable resting between your legs. On walks in the woods, he would love running and take rest breaks for quick drinks in the stream. He would use up his energy and be so tired at home he would just lay there with his head on the floor and look up at you with the " what did you do to me look?" He loved going on vacation. During the four hour car rides he would be very persistent anout sitting on my lap and resting his head on my left arm . It was difficult to drive, but I loved him, so I left him have his way. He loved his toys and had a huge box full of them. He espercially liked the irritating ones that his grandma would by him, the one's that made the train noises, Judy and Chaloopa had a secret plot against Kristy and I, LOL. He loved people and he loved playing with his friends, Cody and Corona. He was very well behaved and would never go to the bathroom on the floor, except when his mother trained him to go poop in my bedroom by the closet. He loved his mother, Kristy. She was amazing to him. She loved him more than most people. Chaloopa was very lucky to find such a caring and compassionate mommy. He was always the first priority to her. She never forgot about him. She bought him treats and a doggie couch and thankfully toys that didn't m,ake noise. I think she bought a few of themn too. He was loved by all who met him. You will be missed. I loved you very much, Chaloopa, you were there to cuddle with me and bring joy to my life. Your mommy and I will see you one day again. We know you are in heaven trying to teach someone how to make eeeeee sounds and chase you around. Until we meet again.........
Your homo daddy,
Troy
