Ashley,Apoo,Little Ash,Baby,Bubba,How many nick names did we have for our fine little furry friend?Many... And she answered to all of them. Ashley was a very kind petite buff colored Cocker Spaniel. She was a true lady, she even crossed her legs when she laid on her side. She was always after her puppy treats-needed at the very least 5-10 a day,and if you didn't volunteer to give them to her she would stand at the pantry in our kitchen and either bark at you or "coo"at you-she sounded like a morning dove until you finally gave in.She was truly a Daddy's girl.Ashley's human sister was a little jealous of her when the two were little.Ashley would curl into a ball and sleep on her daddy's lap and lie in his arms like a baby.If he wasn't giving her enough attention she would swat at him with her paw so that he would pay more attention to him.Ashley came into our lives through a pet store,She was our first big purchase as a couple ,She was our first puppy child together. She was very special to the whole family.Ashley had a tendency to be a nervous dog,she would get frightened during thunder storms and during loud movies, and fireworks scared her, which is ironic her birthday is the 4th of july. She was a very faithful little girl. She didn't need to be walked with a leash and she didn't have to be on a lead in the yard. She always stayed near her family.Even in the end ,she was in her Mommie's arms and near her Daddy as she crossed over to Doggy Heaven. We will always love you Little Ash.
