Luke was my best friend.  There was no one that he didn't like.  He loved meeting new people and was afraid of no one.  He wanted to be in the middle of everyone's activities and conversations.  He truly loved unconditionally and was always polite and well-behaved.



I remember taking him to the vet shortly after he got sick.  They had to take blood and with cats, they take blood from the jugular vein.  The vet had trouble finding the vein and poor Luke was stuck several times while she tried to get the vein.  Not once did he fight back or offer resistance.  He stood there calmly and let us get the blood.  He knew that we were there to help him.  He trusted us.  I will never forget how special my Luke was.  My life will never be the same without him.
