Peaches came into my life 13 1/2 years ago and became my best friend.  She was a vibrant, affectionate and spirited cat who made my life a better place.  We lived on our own for five years until I married, adopted a dog, had a daughter and a son and adopted a bird.  She accepted all of these beings into our family and showed them all the love and attention she had shown me over the years.  We all lived a happy life together but unfortunately she took ill this year and she had to leave us. She fought a courageous battle and stayed with us as long as she could.  We will miss her constant begging for food, she sure loved to eat.  She would wrap her paws around our necks and nibble on our ears to give us lovin, and she loved laying in any sunbeam she could find on the floor and just bathe in it until she was toasty warm.  We know she is in a peaceful, happy place now and although she has left us in body, her spirit is still here living with us.  We miss you Peaches and want you to know that we love you and will always remember what a special girl you were.  We will feel your hugs around our necks for the rest of our lives.
