Perkin was a unique cat. Well, to me he was.  He had a habit of sleeping and eating a lot. He was as good as gold.  I own another cat who is a bit mad (!) and I rescued Perkin from the rescue centre in order to calm her down !  He took up residence in my house as if it was completely natural.  I used to love the way he would stand looking at you and meow expectently.  He loved being stroked and he would bash his head into you on purpose in order to get you to pay him some attention.  He would always greet me coming home from work and I am going to miss that so much.
