My faithful friend for fourteen years.  I just don't have the words to express how much I love you and miss you.  You protected me always; vigilant and true.  You sympathized with me in times of sorrow and let me cry my tears into your fur.  You rejoiced with me in the best of times.  How we loved to go see the cows and get icecream.  There are so many happy memories and funny ones too.  I'll never forget them.  Never.  Each Christmas I'll look at your sock and remember how you patiently waited for me to get up and you wouldn't open it until I said it was time.  I'll try not to remember the end...only the love you gave so faithfully over the years.  You were an old girl but still so graceful.  You never complained even though I knew you were in pain.  I love you Bran-Dog.  I'll never forget you.
