Texas Ranger as we mostly called him personally was Papas. He came to live with my husband back in 1985 as a stray my husband took him into his home as a kitten. He was very dear and special to the both of us. We will always have a very special place for him in our hearts. We remember all the times that he loved to grasp my husbands fingers with his paws and just hold on to him. He also loved to play, he would get attached to my husband with his claws because he had sharp nails. He had a very special meow when he wanted to eat and he always knew the times that I would feed him, because if I would be doing something around the house he would come and get me to stop so I could go and feed him. We love him deeply and he will greatly be missed. I know we will continue to remember him for the rest of our lives. He was also a fighter, because back a few years ago he got a bad case of upper respiratory infection and almost died then. But he fought with everything he had in him. And I thank him for that, because we had a few more years with him. That happened back in 1995 I think. But I thank God for letting me have this very special friend in my life so long. I love him and will always cherish the very special memories we have had with him.
