Blitz was a hunting stock (non-AKC) German Shorthair Pointer. He was born in Petaluma, Ca, a town about 30 miles north of San Francisco. He was a natural at hunting birds and worked well as a bird dog when he lived in the first stage of his life in Sonoma, CA. Later he moved to the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley where he seemed to adapt well. He was naturally friendly and people always seemed to take a liking to him. He traveled quite a bit throughout the West Coast with his owner.

Blitz even got to fly on a jet back to the New England area, where he lived out the remainder of his life. He died and the age of 16 (human years) in NH.
