Peanut was our first Chihuahua and from day one was adored by all the family. We knew he was going to be special but had no idea just how much he would capture our heart's. He loved people and loved life. Everyday was an adventure and he kept us all on our toes. He was my comfort when I lost my Mum to her battle with cancer and would sit patiently by me waiting for my tears to stop. He was in charge of the new Chihuahua's who joined our family, showing them 'the ropes'. In his later years he aquired the look of wisdom that affords many an old dog and really was my little old lad. Sadly Peanut was diagnosed with epilepsy in December of last year, a distressing and shocking illness to witness, but with the advice and guidance of our vets we were able to manage the condition and Peanut never grumbled ,just dealt with it all in his calm and steady way. On tuesday, however after a horrendous 24 hours, we were given the heartbreaking news that nothing more could be done for him and we had to make the decision which everybody dreads, to let him go. Peanut, I want to thankyou for the lifetime of love and joy you brought to us, we will love and miss you forever. Things will never be quite the same again. Mum, Dad, Danielle and all the Chihuahua's xxx
