Bijou was a darling 2.5 pound Black & Tan Yorkie who brought so much joy to so many people. She had sparkling dark eyes and was bright, sweet, smart and gentle yet feisty and very strong willed. One of her favorite things to do was to go "bye-bye", in other words, she loved to ride in the car!! Even though she was considered a senior citizen in the pet world, her little face always retained the bright-eyed, interested look of a puppy. She enjoyed a wonderful 11 years until she became afflicted with a condition known as Peripheral Vestibular Syndrome (similar to vertigo) and began experiencing debilitating seizures. She was treated for the seizures and lived another 10 months before succumbing to an unbearable and unending weekend of multiple seizures. She left quietly and peacefully on June 7, 2004. Her passing has affected so many people who genuinely loved her and we all miss her terribly, especially her mom, Beth, and her beloved Lucy. Bijou is now in heaven with her sister, Sourie, and her friends, Dixie and Buddy. Heaven is a much more glorious place now that Bijou Noir has returned to be with the angels. We miss her, love her and will never forget her.
