He came in summer

Like a fresh gentle breeze 

He was injured and starving 

Curious and hopeful 

A loving, trusting dog... 





He was strong and unflinching 

Vivacious and lively 

He was radiant...he was youthful 

He was ours... 





We shared his raptures and sorrows 

His ups and his downs 

His life... 





Now it is summer again.. 

But this time he has to go 

His spirit and essence will always live through us 

He will eternally remain within us... 

He will forever feel our love....

I miss you so much Whiskey. Thanks you for your warm and welcoming greetings at the door. Thanks for sharing pizza and a movie. Thanks for accompaning me while I have a bath. Thanks for keeping my feet warm at night. Thanks for almost 17 years of unconditional and uncompromising love. You will always be in my heart.

Whiskey was my adorable pet.
Whiskey was the most loving dog.
Whiskey was wonderful.
Whiskey was beautiful.
Whiskey was gentle.
Whiskey was loyal.
Whiskey was faithful.
Whiskey was precious.
Whiskey was independent.
Whiskey was easygoing.
Whiskey was smart –not much of a guard dog.
Whiskey loved life.
Whiskey was loved by everyone.
Whiskey died on Monday May 31. 2004.
We will miss him a lot!

Whiskey is gone but not forgotten.
