Zeke was quite simply a great dog. He was just the best dog ever. He gave our family so much joy. He was a fiesty fiery pup who turned into a patient loving constant companion of a dog who was loved and respected by all. He had a personality like no other. He was one of a kind. He liked to howl and cuddle and play. He was a Great Dane in a poodle's body. He was needy and brave and funny and cute and he lived his life with dignity. He was a terrific friend. Always there for family members in joyous or traumatic times. He rolled with the punches but knew when to put up boundaries. We loved him so much!

Personal Notes

Zeke was always a fantastic dog, but he especially made an impact on our family when our boys were born. Zeke was their first exposure to a pet, and he was very kind, loving, and patient with them. They loved to chase him around and make him howl. He was a special puppy and we will all miss him!

Zeke , Thank you for being apart of our lives . You saw us through the good times and the bad. We love you and miss you. But I know that you are in heaven kicking up your heels or taking a nap on the nicest bean bag ever !

Zeke had a great life. He was a lovable puppy and a super dog. They say dog is "Man's best friend". He started as best friend to a crazy teenage girl, and over 17 years became best friend to a loving, responsible woman who took the best care of him. Zeke watched Colleen grow up, and I never heard him say a bad word about any of it. He always knew just when to lick me on the shoulder. Thanks buddy for all the laughs, and letting us dye you green that one Christmas. You looked great under the tree!

Thanks for letting us color your tail pink for Easter. Remember when you flew out of the car window? You liked to put your nose in the wind. You were wriggling your way out of the window and you flew out with your bandana flapping in the wind. You landed in a patch of grass and ran down the railroad tracks. We finally caught you and you looked happier than I had ever seen you. That proved it for me you were SUPERDOG!

Zeke has been in my life since I met Colleen, and I have to say he became just as special to me as his owner! Zeke traveled many journeys during our lives, the most memorable one for me being the Seattle trip.Colleen and I left him in the truck, and upon returning, I discovered I had left my bag of beef jerky unzipped. He ate the whole bag!Anytime he smelt beef jerky after that, he always begged for it! I will always remember our Zeke. I hope life is treating you grand little buddy! I love ya!
