Frazier was a wonderful friend. He was with me nearly half of my life and will be in my heart forever. Most that knew Frazier appreciated his laid back nature. He had many friends of the four legged variety as well as the two legged kind. For the past two years Frazier suffered from Cushing’s Disease. At the time of his death he was having seizures and was beginning to become disoriented. Wherever Frazier might be I hope he has plenty of Pretzels to beg for, a nice cold floor to sprawl out on, and a few squirrels to chase up trees. At the FDR Memorial in Washington DC, by the statue of FDR sits a bronze Fala, FDR’s Scottish Terrier, ears pricked, watchful eyes under shaggy eyebrows, for ever on guard at his master's feet. I know that Frazier will for ever have a watchful eye on all of those he knew and loved.
