my westy, he was a west highland white terrier. I got him when he was 9 years old from a family whose son went to college and the parents were allergic to dogs. when we met he jumped right into my lap. I knew then that we would bond right away. He was a very gentle dog. he loved to sleep in my bed, ride in my car and just be there for me during my rough times. Last year he came down with conjestive heart failure. I was told I should put him to sleep but I didn't knowing he would over come his illness. He lasted a whole year longer than anyone expected. At 4:45pm on Friday april 2 he succummed to a heart attack. I was devestated but I know he is not suffering and in a better place. I will miss him very very much. He was my heart and inspiration. I love you westy.
