Reggie was a loving, sweet and integral part of our family for the past 12 years.   We loved him with all our hearts, from when that sweet puppy came home in the crate, to our final moments together, where he mustered every last ounce of his energy to lift his head and see his family just one last time.



Reggie, we miss you so much.  

We miss letting you outside first thing in morning.   

We miss you jumping on the bed and giving morning kisses.   

We miss you following us into the closet and around the bedroom while getting ready in the morning.  We miss you following us downstairs, close by our side, as we open blinds, and then sitting looking at the cupboard and waiting for your morning treat.

We miss you waiting for us to sit on the couch, then jumping up cuddling agains't our leg, with your head on our lap.

We miss you following us into our home office in the morning, putting your head on your knee, and look up at us with such dear love.

We miss you lying on the couch, resting your head on the arm of the couch, in your cute perch position.

We miss you jumping up and barking at dogs on the tv, eagerly wagging your tail.

We miss you barking when doorbell rings, always wanting to protect your beloved family.

We miss you under the kitchen table during meals, waiting for food to drop.

We miss you bolting outside, barking and chasing those squirrels and chipmunks who dare to step in your territory.

We miss you standing on the ottoman over our feet, looking at us with such affection.

We miss you tilting your head, in response to our teasing with funny sounds.

We miss taking you to the groomer, and being dragged by you up the stairs, feeling your excitement to see her and play with the other dogs there.

We miss picking you up from the groomer, with a cute bandana round your neck, and always the same report card stating what a good boy you were. 

We miss you upstairs with us, during the kid's get ready for bed routine.

We miss seeing you lying on our kids beds with them in bed, seeing the joy in our kids' and your eyes.

We miss petting you under your chin, on your head, on your belly, on your ears and on your side.

We miss you rolling over on your back and asking for tummy tickles.

We miss putting our heads close to yours, feeling your fur on our faces, and giving you kisses.

We miss coming home to you, and watching you run back and forth with excitement, wiggling your hips, and sometimes having your bone hang out of the side of your mouth.

We miss you staring at us, so lovingly.  

We miss you lying on the couch with us at night, either looking super cute, or cuddling against us.

We miss you purring when we pet you in the right place on your head.

We miss putting you to bed every night, seeing your eyes light up as we pull out your treat, and giving you some pats/love and saying goodnight.



Reggie, life will never be the same without you.   We will always love you so dearly, my sweet sweet boy.
