Goondu will be always remembered for his unique rolling over and showing his belly as a sign of acceptance of friendship. For his unconditional love and companionship, his sharing and caring of all other cats & ducks in the neighborhood. He always shared his food with others and let others eat while he watched in joy of sharing and giving. He brought home two adopted brothers and shared all his food, toys, favorite sleeping spots with them even though they came only for food. He protected them and took upon himself to feed them as he would go bring his little brother cat asking me to open a fresh can and he would let him eat while he watched. He even let the ducklings and ducks eat his food. He always cared and loved his brethren and would share and give everything.

One particular story that comes to mind is that Goondu once caught a garden snake which was hurt and stuck in the bushes. He somehow picked it up gently in his mouth unharmed and brought it to me upstairs and saved it from the hawks flying around. The snake slowly got enough strength to go out on its own and Goondu saved his life. Of course, he always brought lizards and grasshoppers as presents.

He was sometimes more of a dog you could say as he sat in the door entrance and always kept a watch over the people he liked and would instantly roll over and show his belly as a sign of friendship and happiness. He was very social and liked to be around as many people who talked to him.

He would always wait on me anytime I got back from work or play and come by the door the instant he heard me and would jump up the stairs in joy of seeing me and check all the bags to see if he had treats. He would never ask for anything but give and share whatever he had with all fellow animals. HE mostly shared his unconditional LOVE and COMPANIONSHIP with ME and he was always a JOY to watch as he was the most beautiful CAT.
