Tigger was the most loyal friendly and treasured friend. He shared 16 wonderful years with me and I will always hold a special place for him in my heart.

Tigger was born in October 1988 and adopted at the Fort Worth SPCA. Immediately he showed the characteristic bouncing of the Tigger animated tiger from the Whinnie the Pooh series and I found his name easy to come to after watching him run and bounce. He came to live with me in several locations around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex from 1988-1996. He and I moved to Phoenix-Scottsdale in the spring of 1996 and he took his first of many road trips. He took very well to travel and actually seemed to enjoy the rides and plane trips. We then moved from Scottsdale to the east coast in 2000, living in York and Buffalo then Greensboro and finally setting in Charlotte last summer through his final days. He was an inspiration to me to keep trudging on during tough times in my life including several relationship failures, passing loved ones and acclimation to my new homes around the country.

Being an indoor cat, he seldomly went outside and on 2 occasions was "lost" to me for a time, but was returned home safely even after some bizarre turn of events.

He was friendly to everyone and loved human contact. He loved perching in the window watching birds and people go by. He loved his catnip and had the sweetest meow and purr I have ever heard. He often lulled me to sleep while performing the forementioned purring over my head sleeping on my pillow.

Tigger developed kidney failure and diabetes and I needed to have the vet help end his suffering. He will be missed, but I know he is in a better place free of pain and happily chasing the birds he often watched from the windows.
