Max was dropped off at the Pinellas County Humane Society as a puppy and lived there for almost two years prior to us adopting him. It was a struggle to get him, but we fought to have our boy. They were refusing to let us adopt at first because we lived in a different county, a county that was simply "across the bridge" from the Humane Society. We fought for him and we won! Our girl Cheyenne was going to get a brother! Max was a joy...our only boy and the most loveable, sweetest Pitbull ever! He was obedient, loving, caring and welcomed our youngest girl, Freedom with open paws. Max was like our big teddy bear and the most polite boy you would ever meet. He would literally step aside to let his sisters in the door first, and always hang back to eat after they had their meals. As Max grew older he never grew less sweet. To the very end he cuddled with us, gave us kisses and never stopped being our Max. He is missed so much, but is always in our hearts. He is buried beneath a beautiful shade tree in our back yard with a white rose on his grave. We visit every day and we know that our Max is once again whole, healthy and playing near the Rainbow Bridge.Until we are together again baby boy.....we Love you so much!! Mommy and Daddy
