When Meishka came into our lives some friends of ours had puppies and I said we were NOT getting a puppy but then this sweet lil puppy ran up to my feet and wanted to be picked up. I picked her up and she laid on me and cuddled. After that I couldn't turn her away. It was our first Christmas after daddy died and we moved in to take care of mama. We had been trying to figure out what to get the kids from mama so we decided she could be a present from mama. Mama gave us money to go get the rest of their present from her. A collar, leash, puppy food & puppy pads. She was the best gift ever. That's when she became a part of our family. She was the sweetest friend. One time when mama got up and fell, Meishka brought her a pillow. You never heard her bark unless something was wrong. Meishka loved the beach and going on road trips. I am so happy she was able to spend her last 4th of July enjoying herself at the beach and that she had a wonderful trip to Gonzalas for New Years. On the way to Gonzalas and back she sat up almost the whole entire time just looking out the window at everything we passed. She loved everyone and thought everyone should love her and greeted everyone who came over. She loved all animals and once even nursed a kitten that had no mama. She enjoyed laying out in the front yard soaking up the sun. She loved peanut butter dog biscuits and going for walks with Alyssa. She enjoyed when she got a new collar and wearing her tutu. She was so loving and patiant with Aireanna. She would let her crawl all over her and try to ride her. She was the best friend anyone could ask for. Her final days were spent laying around with her family. I was blessed to be able to be with her when she left this world. Meishka passed away at home at about 8:30am on Valentine's Day Feb. 14, 2013. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. I love you Meishka Marie, forever and always, bunches and bunches and bunches! R.I.P. Meishka Marie
