Mae came to us as a fluke! We didn't want any pets, but when my husband brought her, she stole our hearts! She was stubborn and very lovable!! Loved her pet monkey for 13 years. That was her baby... Every night she would carry that stuffed monkey all over the house, before going to bed. She was very patient with the two new additions to the family in 2009... both dogs. Mae "allowed" them to be there. And if she didn't like their attitude , she would let them know. She was quick, smart , beautiful! The terror of every Vet that "dared" to invade her space! Too many great memories! My husband cuddled her on her last hour at the vet, he held her while she was slipping away. He brought her home and I held her, kissed her good night and placed her, with her monkey and her blanket and her angel in her resting place. I know she is not here anymore, but I can still feel her, we had her for 13 years, or should I say that she allowed us to have her for 13 years!! We will miss her... so much!
